The Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Program to Improve Catholic Religious Education for Children and Adults with Mental Retardation is a comprehensive developmental curriculum written for students with mild to moderate mental retardation from the ages of five to eighteen. The development of the curriculum follows the same sequence of topics that the typical Catholic religious education curriculum follows. It covers the major aspects of the Roman Catholic faith. Written lessons are developmental so that concepts are built one upon the other.

The Rose Kennedy Curriculum for those with intellectual disabilities is available at the Religious Education Office for Home Study. Unfortunately, our office do not have the human resources to staff a class but we can offer this excellent program free of cost for parents to work at home with their child.
