“If you live according to my teaching,
you are truly my disciples;
then you will know the truth
and the truth will set you free.”
-- John 8:32
"Adult Catechesis has three major goals:
1. It invites and enables adults 'to acquire an attitude of conversion to the Lord.'
2. Catechesis for adults helps them to make 'a conscious and firm decision to live the gift and choice of faith through membership in the Christian community.'
3. Catechesis for adults helps tham to become 'more willing and able to be a Christian disciple in the world.'"
-- National Directory for Catechesis

Confirmation for Adults
Many Catholic adults find for various reasons that they did not receive their Confirmation and sometimes even Eucharist in their formative years. These classes are also great refresher courses for confirmed Catholics who wish to update their knowledge of church. St. Gregory recognizes this and offers classes on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
Catechist Formation Classes are held periodically throughout the year for all catechists and all parishioners. Watch the bulletin and flyers for more information.
Adult Formation Sessions: Parent Sessions
Every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. from September until April, talks are offered during the time that the Religious Education program is in session. There are talks on parenting, spirituality, liturgical seasons, Scripture, and others of general interest. Although the talks are held at a time of convenience for parents of Religious Education students, all parishioners are welcome to attend.
Landings at 7 p.m. in Flavian Lounge
The Landings Program welcomes inactive Catholics back to the practice of the sacraments and greater involvement in the life of the parish. Have you been away form the church and the practice of the sacraments? Do you have a family member or friend who has been inactive in their faith? Do you want to return home? Call Sister Brenda to register for the next “Landings” group. ALL ARE WELCOME. For more information about Landings click here.
Small Faith Communities
A Small Faith Community is a group of 8 to 10 adults who gather weekly with a trained facilitator in a participant's home. Discussion centers on the Sunday readings. Members share their experiences. Hopefully this leads to a deeper commitment to the Christian life. Watch the church bulletin for more information.

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP):
Do you like to plan ahead? Take note and mark your calendar now !!! Parish Faith Renewal weekends are planned for January 2013. The men will gather on Jan 5 and 6 and the women on Jan 12 and 13. What a wonderful way to start the New Year by spending a prayerful and spirit filled weekend with your fellow parishioners. The CRHP program is put on by your fellow parishioners, right here in the parish facilities. Remember Pope Benedict the XV1 has declared this to be the “Year of Faith”. These CRHP weekends provide a great opportunity to respond to the Pontiff’s proclamation, and to rediscover and renew our relationship to our Lord and his Holy Catholic Church. For more information please contact David or Gloria Glass at 757 495-1692.
