Upcoming Events for Youth (Grades 8-12)

Diocesan Youth Work Camp
Danville, VA
June 22 - June 28, 2013
The Diocesan Work Camp is a weeklong camp experience for youth to serve our brothers and sisters in need by making their homes safer, warmer, drier, and greener while also having the opportunity to grow in our Catholic faith. Sacred Heart School will serve as our home-base where participants and adults will sleep, eat, and participate in evening programming.  There will be daily Mass offered and opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration and Reconciliation throughout the week.  The cost of the camp is $225.  The registration fee covers the materials that are used for the projects as well as meals and lodging for each participant.  The registration deadline is March 10, 2013.  If you need service hours for school, this is the way to get them!

Steubenville Atlanta Youth Conference
July 18-21, 2013
The Diocese of Richmond will attend the Steubenville Atlanta Youth Conference, which is co-sponsored by Life Teen, Inc, July 18-21, 2013. The conference combines awesome talks, incredible music, praise and worship, time for prayer and fellowship, entertainment and liturgies. The cost of the conference is $225, which includes the registration fee as well as transportation, lodging, some meals, and a t-shirt.  The registration deadline is March 30.
