Young Adult Ministry

Meetings

Meetings are held on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Damian Room. All young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 are invited to join us for Bible study led by Dr. Bob Schihl, an expert theologian and nationally known Catholic apologist who has recently retired from Regent University. Food and fellowship will follow each function.

Our Mission Statement

Our vision is for a multifaceted ministry rooted in scripture. Scripture will be at the center of the gathering, just like food is at the center of the meal. Our desire for the meetings is to come together as a group of young adults just like a family comes together for dinner. By sharing in the nourishment of our spirits through the study of scripture, we hope to foster the growth of strong Catholic relationships that will encourage and fortify our lives in faith.  Our hope is not only to preach the truth to members of the bible study, but to empower well formed young adults to evangelize and minister to the spiritual needs of the people they meet outside of the prayer group in their everyday lives. With the guidance of one expert, older and wiser than the rest, we desire to stay true to Catholic teaching. By presenting a message which is dynamically orthodox at its core, we hope to call young adults to deeper conversions and radical changes.
