Our Mission We, the Parish of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, are an integral part of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. We proclaim God's love and the Good News of Jesus Christ to all by embracing the Church's Sacred Scriptures and teachings. St. Gregory the Great Women's Club 14th Annual Gently Used Book Sale will take place Saturday, September 18 from 8am till 2pm; and Sunday, September 19 from 8am till 1pm, in the Assembly Room in Paschal Hall. We have been collecting books all summer and will continue until August 28 and 29. The books can be placed in the blue shopping cart in the commons area. Please no condensed books/readers digest, magazines, or text books. For information please call Diane 474-2202.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets every other week (not weekly) on Saturday morning 9:30am till 11am in the Damian Room. Our next meeting will be July 31st and every other week after that. New members are welcome and we will teach them to crochet or knit. For Information please call Peggy 467-4186 or Diane 474-2202.

SMALL FAITH COMMUNITIES Participation in a small faith community raises your awareness of what scripture says and how it fits into your life. You will be able to discuss with others the problems and challenges you are experiencing in your Christian journey. Some Small Faith Communities continue throughout the year. If you would like to join one that meets weekly to discuss the Sunday readings call Elaine at (757) 424-1558 or email her at AED999@hotmail.com. CD MINISTRY We now have two racks, one in the Commons and one in the old spot, the corridor outside the Commons leading to the side parking lot and classrooms. About us... Our parish community was founded in the year 1957. In commemoration of our 50-year Anniversary in 2007, the parish community celebrated the "Jubilee Year" by having a whole variety of special events throughout the year. |
